Guaranteed Ride Home Program

The Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program ensures employees who participate in a ridesharing arrangement (carpool, vanpool, public transit) a mode of transportation if there is an emergency. The GRH program eliminates one of the most frequently cited reasons people opt to drive alone to work, the fear of being stranded at work in case of an emergency. For many commuters, this fear is strong enough that they will not rideshare, even once, on the chance that they might need their car. GRH program is a relatively low-cost incentive that can increase the use of high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) modes and non-vehicle modes such as walking and bicycling. The availability of the GRH program significantly reduces the number of people who revert from ridesharing to driving alone.

Once you enroll in the GRH program you will receive a GRH packet by mail. This packet will include your Enterprise Rent a Car GRH membership card and taxi vouchers. For information on the GRH program’s policies and procedures click here.
